My mission is to help take the overwhelm away by helping you move from thinking about marketing your business, to doing it. We can take action together and I’ll help you know which next steps to take next too.
I tend not to get caught up in the latest passing trends, I prefer developing a mindful, creative plan with my clients. I’m calm, thoughtful and considered. My approach comes from over two decades of experience working with people just like you. Small business, not for profits, artists and makers. Innovative folks who want someone to untangle the marketing side of their business so their work can get the attention it deserves.
My diverse skill set means we can float effortlessly between your brand strategy & design, website design and development, content plans, creating designs for your brochures or social media, or even updating your website together till it pops.
My thoughtful, considered approach comes from over two decades of experience working with businesses and creative people just like you. Who am I?
I'm Rachel and I'm the powerhouse behind The Design Cure. The Design Cure is more than a design studio; I am a one woman branding and marketing department - of course I have legendary people who support me in specialist areas, but I pull all the marketing parts together so my clients don't need to worry about trying to co ordinate and direct multiple service providers.
The Design Cure, is actually my second marketing and design agency. My husband and I set up and ran a specialist Retail Marketing Agency in Sydney for 8 years (yes we worked together and survived!) which we sold when we moved interstate. The Design Cure has now been established for well over 10 years and I spend my working days supporting businesses, Artists, NFPs and consultants with their personal and business branding and marketing - and I love it.
Smart marketing and professional branding shouldn't be something only big businesses prioritise or can access.
For me, what I do is more than just a job, for 20+ years I've woven it in around 4 children, moving houses, renovating and life in general. I love making a difference, bringing ideas to life, building communities, being part of the journey - helping amazing, creative people establish themselves or their businesses in their industry and be recognised and paid properly for their skills, talents and experience. I do all this through brand design & strategy, websites, social media, marketing, campaigns and coaching.
