  • Foundation projects are custom designed for small businesses that are ready to step back and properly define how their brand, messaging and online presence work together, rather than continuing to adjust things in pieces that never quite work.

    Our work typically spans brand positioning, messaging, website design and build, and the setup of practical marketing systems so your business is clear, consistent and set up to operate properly. Depending on the business, this may include branding, a Squarespace or Shopify website, eCommerce setup, and the structure behind how your marketing actually functions day to day.

    Everything is approached as part of a whole. Not separate tasks, but a connected foundation that supports how your business grows.

    The intention is to remove the need for constant reworking and give you something strategic, aligned and reliable to build on.

  • A contained way to access experienced support or input when you need it.

    Marketing clinic days are held once or twice a month, with a limited number of one-hour sessions available to book.

    They are not ideal for ongoing support or delivery. If a larger body of work is needed, this is usually better suited to a custom project.

The Design Cure is led by Rachel Hollier, a brand strategist and designer with more than two decades of experience working with small businesses, creatives and organisations across Australia.

Rachel’s work sits at the intersection of strategy, brand and digital design - helping clients slow things down enough to gain clarity, make confident decisions and build foundations that support sustainable growth over time.

Hi! I’m Rachel, I founded The Design Cure to provide brand, web and marketing strategy that’s thoughtful, effective and built with the realities of founders, creatives and small business in mind. With over 20 years in the industry - and a background leading two design and marketing agencies - I’ve worked with shopping centres, consultants, NFPs, Artists galleries and independent brands to help them communicate clearly, grow sustainably and feel confident in how they show up.
